You Praying Against a Nuclear Exchange
The tension between Iran and Israel has been ongoing. However, tensions are escalating recently due to some attacks on land, by air, and at sea between both countries. There have been nuclear threats coming out of Iran for a long time towards Israel. Let your prayers stand in the gap against a fatal exchange of nuclear power.
PRAY
Jesus,
Your word says that you will bless those who bless Israel, and that you will curse those who curse Israel. I am asking for a shift in the perspective of Iranian leadership to go from cursing to blessing; from destruction to building up; and to go from hatred to brotherly cooperation. Lord, turn the tide in this. Release a bond of peace that will enable negotiations. Bring down this wicked spirit of destruction and division in Jesus’ name. Increase the margins for working things through, and create incentives that will pull leaders back from extreme agendas. Let things begin to shift towards LIFE, unity, and an attitude of cooperation. God, I ask for your will to be done on the earth as it is in heaven. According to your word, “He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth.”
I ask that you intervene and stop this potential war as only you can, dear Lord. In Jesus’ name,
